Sorry

Hey Jammers, sorry I haven't post new posts yet, I was at my grandma and I didn't know that I will stay at her place. I hope you understand.

Awesome man.:) Spending time with your loved ones are precious.:D I did also stayed with my grandma for 5 straight weeks in the hospital and her home until she passed.:)
Hope your short visit is a good and fun one(ofcourse it will be man!)

Wolf

A hungry wolf can eat 20 pounds of meat in a single meal, which is akin to a human eating one hundred hamburgers.

Tiger

Unlike some big cats like lions, adult tigers like to live alone (except for mother tigers with cubs). This is partly because in the forest, a single tiger can sneak up and surprise its prey better than a group of tigers can.

Chimpanzee

Chimpanzees use large sticks and branches as clubs or even throw them at enemies, just like humans.

Rabbit

Rabbits live in a large group called Herds or Colonies. A Female Rabbit is called a Doe and a Male Rabbit is called a Buck, also, A Mother Rabbit is called a Dam and a Father Rabbit is called a Sire. Rabbits can sleep with they're eyes open to look out for predators as they are a prey species.

Koala bear

The word koala is aboriginal for "no drink." Koala gets the water they need from their food (eucalyptus leaves).

Seal

Seals are insulated from cold water by their fur coat and by a thick layer of blubber. In polar environments, seals restrict blood flow to their skin surface to keep from releasing internal body heat to the ice.

Giant panda

A panda’s paw has six digits – five fingers and an opposable pseudo-thumb (actually an enlarged wrist bone) it uses merely to hold bamboo while eating.

Sloth

The sloth’s hairy body has developed a deep groove that serves as the habitat for colonies of symbiotic algae that can turn the sloth’s fur green during the rainy season to help it camouflage with its environment. Moths have also been found the flurry region where they feed off of the algae and hide from potential predators.

Lynx

Lynx is not a fast runner. Since it does not chase the prey, it hunts from an ambush and uses the element of surprise.

Otter

Otters love to eat shelled animals, like clams, but they aren’t equipped with the strength to open their food without some help. Otters are big on tools, and will often use rocks to help crack into dinner. While they hunt for food underwater, they’ll often store a rock in the skin under their arms for later use.

Arctic fox

Living in extremely cold regions, the arctic fox has a unique system of heat exchange that will not let her start shivering until the temperature drops to an astounding −70 °C (−94 °F).

Llama

Llamas have inherited fear of coyote, mountain lions and other dog-like animals. Some llamas are used as "guards" of the sheep because they quickly alert and protect the herd when they spot a predator.

Goat

Goats’ pupils (like many hooved animals) are rectangular. This gives them vision for 320 to 340 degrees (compared to humans with 160-210) around them without having to move and they are thought to have excellent night vision.

Polar bear

Some female polar bears deviate from the one room den. They build dens with multiple rooms and even a ventilation system in the roof.

Hyena

Hyenas make a variety of vocalizations, including wailing calls, howling screams and the well-known "laughter" used to alert other clan members up to three miles away of a food source.

Deer

Deer mark their home range with a strongly scented pheromone. It is present in almost all the species of deer, in the facial gland present in the front of each eye.

Cheetah

Cheetahs do not roar like lions, however they do have a range of other meaningful vocalisations such as purring, growling and a variety of contact calls which resemble bird-like chirping sounds.

Kangaroo

Like cows, kangaroos have chambered stomachs to help with digestion.They regurgitate grass and shrubs and chew them again before swallowing.They also have highly specialized teeth. Their molars fall out regularly from the wear and tear of their plant-based diet, and are replaced with new ones.

Raccoon

The raccoon's scientific name is Procyon lotor which means "washer dog" although it is a closer relative to the bear family. Raccoons also have a large array of vocalizations. They purr, whistle, growl, hiss, scream and even whinny.

Lion

The lion is the only member of the cat family with a tasseled tail, which serves a purpose beyond aesthetics. It's often used to signal to other members of the pride, with messages ranging from directional, "this way" commands to flirtatious, "come hither" invitations!

Giraffe

It's difficult to catch a giraffe while its sleeping, simply because he gets so little of it! Ever vigilant for predators, giraffes just sleep for a few minutes at a time, and usually only get about 30 minutes total in a single day.

Elephant

Elephants spend up to 16-18 hours per day eating.

Pig

Pigs have a tremendous sense of smell. The large round disk of cartilage at the tip of the snout is connected to muscle that gives it extra flexibility and strength for rooting in the ground.

Fox

Foxes are the only type of dog capable of retracting their claws like cats do. Foxes also have vertical pupils that look more like those of cats than the rounded pupils that other dogs have.

Alligator

An alligator cannot move its tongue, and must raise its head to swallow.

Horse

The horse's sense of touch is very sensitive.It's so sensitive that it notices the instant a mosquito lands on it.

Snow leopard

Snow leopards have an underdevelopment of their vocal tissue and cannot roar. This separates them from other big cats. Snow leopards use sounds and scrape against the dirt to communicate.

Rhinoceros

Rhinos make their own sun block by wallowing in mud and letting it dry. The dried mud also protects them from some blood sucking insects. Rhinos have lived on earth for 50 million years!

Peregrine falcon

Peregrine falcon’s courtship flight includes a mix of aerial acrobatics, precise spirals, and steep dives. The male passes prey it has caught to the female in mid-air. To make this possible, the female actually flies upside-down to receive the food from the male’s talons.

Great horned owl

Horned owls have "ear" tufts on their heads but they aren't ears at all. These tufts of feathers may indicate the bird's mood, help keep it camouflaged or be used to show aggression. Also an owl's eyes are supported by bony eye sockets and they cannot turn their eyes. That's why they rotate their heads up to 270 degrees.

Eagle

Eagles have unusual eyes. They are very large in proportion to their heads and have extremely large pupils. Eagles’ eyes have a million light-sensitive cells per square mm of retina, five times more that a human’s 200,000. While humans see just three basic colours, eagles see five. These adaptations gives eagles extremely keen eyesight and enable them to spot even well-camouflaged potential prey from a very long distance. In fact the eagles’ vision is among the sharpest of any animal and studies suggest that some eagles can spot an animal the size of a rabbit up to two miles away!

Penguin

The light front and dark back coloration of classic penguin plumage is called countershading and it provides superb camouflage from above and below to protect penguins in the water.

Dolphin

Dolphins enjoy socializing and playing. They play with seaweed or with other members of the pod. Sometimes, they will tease other living creatures in the water.

Sea turtle

Sea turtles may migrate long distances and also to stay in warmer waters when the seasons change. One leatherback turtle was tracked for over 12,000 miles as it traveled from Indonesia to Oregon, and loggerheads may migrate between Japan and Baja, California (Source).

Octopus

All octopuses have three hearts, they have no bones and will not be able to maintain their shape out of water, the color of their blood is blue and they have a very good eyesight but can not hear!

Shark

A shark's hunger can be satisfied with one good meal. The meal can last a long time because a shark uses little energy to swim. Some sharks hold food in their stomachs without it being digested. If they eat a big meal, it can last three or more months!
